Am I making you weebly in the knees?

I have really found the Weebly experience a lot easier to do than I thought it would be. Plus, it is a great way to store all my teaching information in one place instead of having to go to all these different sites. If I want to look at my unit plans, all I have to do is go to one spot instead of having to figure out where it is… is it on stored: Google docs or on my computer? Plus, as my lesson plans increase, so will my website.

The one thing I am not a fan of is updating the site. You can make adjustments, then you publish, then you have to go to your published site to see what you did. It can get a bit confusing with all the screens up….so which one am I on now? Did it really save? So, I find myself logging out and logging back in just to make sure it was all saved correctly. I am getting better at it, as we speak.

As with many things, if you don’t use it, you lose it. And the more you work with it, the more comfortable you’ll be with it. I am getting more at ease with this the more I use it and I like just playing around with the site seeing what it can do. With all the former UWB graduates saying what a huge help the technology class was, I hope that I can email back and say the same thing.

  1. I hope so, too! And yes, the more you work with it, the less likely you are to second guess yourself! Looking forward to looking through your whole Weebly site.
